In between stays in South Asia, Ross Adkin has swapped chai for Irn-Bru, cricket for rugby, and is currently marooned in Scotland, where life is made bearable thanks to a hubble-bubble pipe and lots of Hindi music.

This September he'll begin studying at London's School of Oriental and African Studies, which will facilitate a return to the Subcontinent, and hopefully an increase in pay.
